Some footage on his Instagram. Says Rd 2, looks like he is in hospital and has his foot bandaged. Hope this was expected and not a set back.

We have got to hope it is not a set back.On a brighter note if big Dave does miss the beginlng of the season think we are stronger than last year in props ,He will be a big loss but think we will cope till he is fit

I don’t claim to know how injuries work but that does sound reasonable to me.We fans do have a habit of thinking the worst.

If he stated 'round two' looks like it was something he expected to happen.
