Some football clubs. Celtic for example sell football shirts with no sponsorship so Muslim fans or anyone for that matter can buy the shirt without promoting alcohol for example.
This shouldn't be a big issue at all.
So you ignored the fact his employer has no issue with this.
Bet Fred are giving the league money for sponsorship.
If the highest profile player in the league won't back them then they are unlikely to keep doing so.
So yes it's an issue.
Don't bring the Muslim argument into it. That hasn't been raised by anyone on here.
