He doesn't need to be the best. He just needs to be good enough to play a decent standard of super league as our 4th choice prop. Anything else is a bonus.
If we are just signing him to fill the gap left by injuries then why sign him up for the full season? When the majority of injured players are likely to be back for round 2 or 3? Just takes money out of the budget for a full season that could of been spent on a quota player mid season as Chester has talked about all pre season.
He is not any better than Gwaze IMO, from what I have seen.
I think we would have been okay going with what we have for the first few rounds tbh, even the likes of Pitts could have done a few stints in the front row if needed.
