It was a Zoom call. I missed the first 20mins but it was informative. As I can on the chairman was discussing the East Stand project, which as you might guess has been delayed by the Coronovirus situation.
Sounds like a smaller squad for next year and unlikely to see any overseas recruitment. Very honest from Michael Carter who said potentially some players could go if better deals were offered to them but he expects 50-60 super league players to be without a club at the season's end so quality will be out there to come in.
He answered my question about a potential for some players having to go semi-pro with a no which was good to hear.
New kit and merch supplier - international brand. Spoke of how great it has been to see the ISC gear worn around Wakefield, big change in the amount of Trinity stuff you see about town etc. So hopefully we're getting a decent replacement.
