If it is powell i`ve heard he is very proffesional with very high standards, if so lets hope he`s allowed the chance to go through the place like a dose of salts. Get his own staff not lumbered with mash, as i'm sure after the warrington gig he has a point he'd like to prove.
Didn’t Willie steam in with some high standards and the players ran off to Minards to complain it was too hard?
Doesn't matter what coach we have, he must receive the full backing of the club. Carter's already said he was in charge of recruitment and that it was a disaster, The other things that must change are culture, attitude and professionalism. The whole place needs a lift. Also what does make a good coach because looking round they are thin on the ground with what have been reasonably good coaches looking below average.

Think what Carter ment was if the player the Coach wanted was to much much ,the coach could not have him .That is a lot different than Carter saying to the Coach I have signed this player and that player ext without telling the coach

With no disrespect, ideally, I wouldn't want the current owners to have any involvement in signing new players for on behalf of a possible incoming coach and hopeful new owners.
Not just due to poor player recruitment in recent years, but with certain fallings out with a players agent, and that agent not wanting his players at Wakefield whilst a certain person involved, does this not reduce our options.

It does and it should be sorted out. But wasn't he trying to stiff us, hence the argument?
You are right ,then after they had got rid of W Poaching, the players ran off to other club's .
The players that left the club signed contracts elsewhere whilst Poching was in charge and during the period when we looked nailed on for relegation. The so called player power period got us out of that mess but contracts were honoured.
