In the words of Richard Horne on Road to Wembley DVD: It's good to be back, kidda.
Again, feel free to use this forum for FCTV any suggestions. There's several new developments to look forward to this season: exclusive monthly features, lots of PlayerCam, boxset-friendly monthly DVDs (extended highlights, extended press conf, longer edits per se), HD trials (we actually shoot all the matches in HD and down rez for web), half time interviews, cameras on fans' buses (a'la Road to Wembley docos), and, apart from the DVDs, it's all still free. Happy days. Several clubs are now 'doing a bit' of video, but I believe FCTV is still head and shoulders above it all - which the web team have to take a lot of the credit for.
Also, there's also the possibility of User Generated Content (UGC) for FCTV. Not sure how we'd incorporate this at present, but it's something I'm interested in discussing.
As for No Connection's version of Old Faithful...Personally, I prefer it (a lot) to Baba O'Reilly, which I think is a bit of a plodder of a song, to be honest with you, but I understand the jolt of change it's created. NC allowed us to plunder their hitherto 5 CDs gratis for all of those pre-match montages in Season 08. They're a Reading-based trio who normally only license their music for stuff like X-Box 360 games. It'll grow on you.
Maybe we should get them to the KC to perform 'Old' live to prove it?
