I'm not a fan of the Cust signing and have been very vocal about it, but I don't think it's fair to judge him on last night, hasn't played for ages, played with a bunch of young kids, playing the best team in the league away, he will be rusty and looked to be trying too hard. Making out he is a bad signing on the back on this game is madness, there are other reasons to justify why he isn't a great signing (and others why he could be a useful one), but don't think judging him on one performance in difficult circumstances is one of them.

Well said Dave but you are wasting your time.

Already written off before he's officially announced.

At least we have already found next season's scapegoat.

I’m not making a case for signing him. Just stating facts. A player who has had No first team game time and is then thrown in with half a team who haven’t either, is hardly likely to be able to produce anything like the performance you demand

Pretty much my thoughts, on balance and to put things in to context last night, Salford with the whole host of changes to their regular 17 they looked very similar to us.

I'm no Cust fan and still can't understand the reasoning behind his apparent signing but to judge him or Bourouh on last night is pointless

I get what people are saying but I’ve said from day dot they are both poor signings, last night certainly didn’t change my mind.
