The future of the game is in the balance and after weeks of him being silent after the Academy debacle here we have Mr Rimmers sometimes convoluted view of where we are going, how we are doing it and where we will get to ....eventually !!!!!His comments are meant to persuade us that the game has a bright future if he is leading it but there is nothing there at all to indicate this is the case.
Quite frankly, for me its another obscure and imperfect vision of what is the reality of the situation. The RFL have been trying to change the game for years and yet we flounder from one initiative, to another without any sort of upward progress. Remember Mr Rimmer trying to explain away why Cas and Rovers were being chucked out of the Academy revamp when both were producing young players in a game starved of them? I think what we need first and foremost is a big shake up at the very to of the RFL, some new brooms and new ideas have a read and see what you think! https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/r ... rn-5906785 |
