:ASK:

Its an opinion, one I dont agree with but an opinion all the same. Thought Long was involved in all things good and despite the heavy attention he had didn't disappear, only down side was the penalties he gave away when we could have done without the pressure.

Me too. Bad decision to force him out by Morgan.

An opinion which I asked to be justified. Like you have, therefore thankyou :D

would you be saying that if Rovers had capitalised on his laying on penalties, missed 40/20 and kicks out on the full? not forgetting his poor pass created Rovers first try also. Still not overwhelmed with him to be honest.

He did nothing in the tackle that Rovers weren't getting away with, missed a 40/20 by about 2 foot, and didn't kick anything out on the full. Granted that first pass was poor.

He was far better than Dobson and with only a fraction of the possession to work with. He'll play better, but he certainly wasn't poor.

Think Dobson may be suffering from the bigging up he receives from all and sundry, can imagine Justin wiping his rear end for him when requested, thats if Clunt doesnt need him first!!!

Long did well in a very difficult and ferocious game. He was singled out for attention by Morgans dobbins, constantly taking hit when he didn't even have the ball. Kept picking himself up and was a danger.

Yes, I would. Although I didn't see a kick out of the full and I don't know how the opposition can really take advantage of a missed 40/20 attempt more than any other kick to touch.
