Sounds like he's still backing Radford to me.
Can't he see - as a people manager himself - that if the players aren't responding to the coach then they aren't buying into what that coach believes and is telling them. Or that they have no respect for the coach for whatever reason.
The questions Pearson should be asking are Why are the players not responding, why are they not happy and why are they wanting to leave the club?
