Indeed, Sanderson looks quicker than Swift in the "showreel", but then he's hardly going to put missed tackles or dropped balls on it.

We'll see how Swift goes, when everyone is fit he will have to work hard to keep a place (as will everyone)

Yes is a forum, and if you put something out there expect to be challenged, especially that suggestion, which is ridiculous as explained above.

It’s all about opinion but this forum is becoming nothing more than an online play ground. It was simply an option put out there in response to another poster simple. I expected more from Swift to be honest based on his experience and the fact he had an opportunity to lay down a marker to keep his place which for me he didn’t do.

Sanderson isn’t a bad player either saying it is ridiculous like it’s the craziest thing you’ve heard is rather dramatic. It’s an opinion

If you say so, don't get the playground stuff, have I resorted to that, insulted you etc.

I honestly cant believe that after one game that Sanderson a player who hasn't played SL and isnt even a Hull player (I'm not even sure he would be allowed to play) could replace Swift against the champions and the of the best wingers in SL.

Like you say it's all about opinions.

Still not sure what Swift did wrong, Shaul has a much worst game and nothing has been said about him.

I think Swifty looked a little clunky and hesitant at times, and also debuting in a high pressure Derby after being out so long would test the mettle of most, he will improve hopefully, thanks to our owner we are very fortunate to have good options almost everywhere, as a club we seem to be in a healthy position, expectation is high, we were magnificent at Headingley, and did enough against our neighbours.

Saints are the acid test, a really quality side, they will test us everywhere, the injuries in both camps cancel each other out, and should we manage to take the spoils, imagine the increased expectations at the club. This forum has some marvellous eloquent posters, some I’ve crossed swords with, no problem, disagreeing is part of it, but there is a small element of continuous mischievousness, where the participants are more interested in twisting words, rather than partake in the rugby league conversation.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

I thought we were at home this weekend (like city on Friday night). :)

It was just an option that may or may not be possible to Swift that was all. I was a little disappointed with Swift for the reasons stated but it was his first game and I would have him back in against St’s with Faraimo still injured as shown in my posts.

Swift out, fonua on the wing and another forward on the bench for me. Pointless having a centre on the bench

Dont agree about having Fonua on the bench as long as he does more than 10 minutes.Cant see that 10 minutes game time helps with match fitness
Its an easy interchange when we can move Griffin into the second row.
Personally would like to see an extra forward on the bench rather than carry two hookers but the way to handle Walmsley is to tackle him low around the legs and i think Johnstone can do this.
Its going to be wet.Just wish Albo was available.
Still not convinced by Connor at 6.
