How many times have we had our hopes built up only to be disappointed. It wouldn't surprise me if this investor is a local fish and chip shop.

Agree with these. Can just imagine everybody getting worked up and in the end the investment never actually comes to fruition, or it's something so small that the club still can't grow much with it (although any amount is still something positive).

Trying not to let myself get too carried away right now.

Anyway, just off to town to pick up my new 'Cleary 7' home shirt and then back home for the 6pm show.

I'm a bit surprised to hear Barmby and Taylor would have the financial clout to throw that type of money about .
I know all about Walker and happy to be corrected on the other two .

Probably more as board advisors, both High level sportsmen who have played at the top of their sports in this country.

Taylor will have a few connections too.

Saying that Barmy should have a bit of money, 20 plus million in transfer and earning 20k a week average for 20 years.

As long as we have some money invested in the team on and off the pitch and they have the best interests of the club at heart, I'd take just about anyone on our board.

If the rumours are true and its Walker, Barmy and Taylor, you have money and people who care about the club.
