It was outside his terms of employment. There are many reasons a particular course of action may not be taken. He also fell out with Mags which is strange as he was instrumental in TS joining the club.
Do you see a pattern developing here?

Yes.

The pattern I see is not developing it was fully developed a long time ago.

It's the story of a fan of a team with a visceral hatred of it's bigger and more successful rival who only posts on this board when his team wins and the rival loses.

It goes on. A multi trophy winning coach was appointed and building a team which was lauded as the most entertaining side in the league. Not only that he was one game away from winning the biggest prize in the sport.

Tragically it all ended in tears as he fell out with the CEO and all the dreams went up in smoke.

In a remarkable twist and to add insult to injury that multi trophy winning coach is heavily linked to being appointed the new coach of the bigger and more successful club the fan despises.

It's a funny old game.

I guess it's only me, but I think the stuff being said on here about Scott Taylor and Danny Houghton is totally unacceptable. If you're angry about a player signing a contract they are offered you're an idiot. If you're angry at a player for playing as though he hasn't been given a game plan when he clearly hasn't been given a game plan then you're an idiot. If you're angry about a player not playing like they did at the peak of their youth when their body is battered then you're an idiot.

I could go on, but i'll save you the full rant.

Message to Tony - If you don't think you can motivate a Hull FC fan to play at their best for Hull FC, please don't take the job.

Scott? Danny? Which one are you?

Why would I be delighted? He has no connection with us. As usual completely completely miss the point of the discussion

He's under contract probably on a decent wedge so he why would he move on? Swap deal perhaps?

I agree, but Griffin is an athlete i wont say professional because he isnt based on his last performances and the rumour he told Hodgson to F off in training.
If the club cant move him on or as you say look at a swap deal then you make it plain that he is no longer part of the clubs plans.
So if he wants to sit out his contract with a season in the stands and given the odd game in the reserves then thats up to him but given those circumstances i am certain he would try and find another club.

How sad you are. It must be hard living off past glories. Making fun of others when your team is in its worst state since the powers that be saved you from oblivion with a merger with Gateshead. Things can get worse.,For the past two years your final position has been below us. Maybe not by much but the situation is obviously hurting. I thought I’d let you know that every time you make a dig I know it’s because of the hurt and my grin gets wider.

Interesting on the “Show Me The Money” YouTube broadcast, that they said Shaun Wane was lined up for the job before BH, but that the wage demands were prohibitive.
