Just nice to have some pace an options leading into next season.

Think we could end up keeping Walker too of things work out

There isn’t however to get him in that position it would require us to ask a middle forward to play as 1st receiver and we don’t have anyone that can do that role.

Hoy to attack as a 6 & defend at fullback with Jake doing the opposite?

5 assists in 5 NRL games this season.

Annoyingly I can't find his NSWRL stats now, but he was/is a regular scorer/assist.

His recently games in the NSWRL Cup were at 7. It seems a really long stretch, but I wonder if Hull asked what he could do there, since he doesn't have a contract at Newcastle beyond this season

I'm not bothered about Hoy does in the NRL, the standard is miles above SL and we have seen how often players deemed not good enough the NRL, do really well in SL.

In fact if anything him playing badly is probably a good thing as we wouldn't sign him I he was playing really well

Think we had a chance this year, but Ponga being out over aOrigin stopped that.
