I've highlighted the bits that I believe would be irrelevant to an Aussie coming over to play his retirement years at an English club. I'm not trying to be facetious but I don't see how any of what you've said there contradicts the points I made earlier?

You said Rovers "must look so much more ambitious than us". How so? You get promotion and you get £1.6m to spend on players, so unsurprising that Rovers have improved on the pitch since 2006, is it? Hudgell himself has said Rovers are no more than a decent mid table side. Hull are a decent mid table side, but have a far more robust set-up off the pitch and as a player, would you rather play at the KC or Craven Park, which, again, Hudgell himself describes as "2 shoeboxes either side of a wind tunnel"? Just don't see where you get the idea that, to an Aussie that knows nothing about Hull, Rovers is the no-brainer option because of Justin Morgan.

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...

Again, as an outsider, I'm slightly baffled by Garry's claim to Hull KR being a more ambitious club....As far as I see, you have the better ground, better recent history, better squad (on paper). Its just your coach that leaves you lacking.

Just out of curiosity, what is Agar's standing with fans at Hull.....The problem we had with Cullen was that many actually liked the guy and it was because of this popularity that he got a lot longer in the job than he should have....Does Agar enjoy similar support?

Agars support is very poor to say the least he has it all to prove and maybe if my fellow FC 'fan' had used Warrington as the example it may have been more believable? :D

Not at all....Monaghan signed by Cullen....Big money spent on Gleeson whilst Cullen in charge...Similarly, King, Morley, Anderson's x2, etc all brought in under Cullen.

Smith is getting similar backing, but at least now, as a benefactor, you'd be happier spending the cash knowing Smith is a good coach and likely to make maximum use of your investment.

Fair enough maybe 'ambitious' was the wrong word, 'successful' was probably fairer... I've described why Rovers are currently more successful than us,if it had just been for one year you could have called it a blip, 2 a worrying trend.. but a I think when they've been on top this long you just have to accept they are the city's top dogs. Yes we have a better stadium and play in front of more fans, that's one thing we do have... As it happens I don't actually rate Morgan that highly, but I struggle to think of one aspect where Agar bests him... can you genuinly come up with any?

Recruitment I'll give you, but even then it's somewhat negated by his inability to use his signings properly. Also Morgan has done notably better in certain positions i.e. they got Dobson, we got an ageing, injury-prone Long, O'Meley was a big capture for us, Mason a bigger one for them.

In terms of how you measure success, looking again from the point of view of an Aussie coming over you'd look at how the two clubs have performed over the last few years... I'm 99.9% sure you wouldn't care less about what community work the club is doing or what operating profit they were making (as long as you were sure you'd get paid).

Mason hasn't played over here yet, how can you say that he's better?? O'Meley was one of our best players last season!!
