I still remember his brilliant full lengther try against Rovers as a young teenager in a pre season game at the KC.

He's certainly been a pain in their backsides.

The Challenge Cup final is the showpiece event in the Rugby League Calendar.

Many people who have only a casual interest in our sport tune in every year as a matter of traditional.

Today has seen a classic game watched by millions and despite our FC bias there was only one winner today and that was the game of Rugby League.

On my laptop homescreen I have little pictures of some of my favourite FC moments. There's 17 pictures in all. That tackle is on there.

Others on there include Steve Michael's winning try in the 20-22 comeback at Craven Park in 2016. Swains charge down on Sinfield in 2005? And of course tackle 52.

It was a Super League game I think. 2008.

last time leigh won the cup was in 1971.infamous final.alex murphy supposedly conned the ref and got syd hynes sent off.the first sending off in a cup final.
