For me its the correct decision to let him go rather than give him a 2 year deal. Been a decent player but in all fairness its taken him until this year to really show us the Manu Ma'u that terrorised the NRL. Injuries always seem to see him miss chunks of the seasons too and at 34 the risk of more time off the field is there, but probably go on to have a 2 year injury free run at Catalans knowing our luck.

Sorry to see him go based on his performances this season but overall definitely the right decision and need more bang for our buck so to speak.

savelio and carlos should be next to go,injured far too much.

Right decision, 2 years for him is a big risk, picks up a few injuries.

Good player, runs hard and great defence, but in their peak not as good as Manu(both)or Mini.

I doubt that, Carlos has made a bad year, but previous years played most games. Savelio after his first season hadn't been too bad either upto this injury.

Correct call on Manu. A 2 year deal is a risk for a 34 year old.

Best wishes to Ma'u, enjoyed seeing him play for us. His time at Hull was a bit of a slow burner, not helped with the disrupted 2020 season.

I would have been alarmed had Hull offered him a two year deal.

If someone decent comes along, although I wouldn't be against us saving a spot and some cap for a mid season signing, see what we need depending on form and injuries.

Out of 24 games last year Tuimavave only missed four and Savelio five.

Actually between 2020 and 2021 Carlos played 39/45.
