I’ve no idea on the situation but would a firefighter be allowed to play part time rugby? It’s not exactly a job you can do if you pick up an injury on the weekend.

If Sao is on 140k, it's no wonder we are in the state we are.

Chance of fire brigade doesn't come up often, 40k a year or for the next 25 years is much than any rugby wage he can earn.

I was a retained firefighter 20 years ago, many of the full timers who we worked closely with had second jobs. The shift system they worked back then made it easy. Not sure if anything has changed. Also playing sports was encouraged.

Yes he could still have a second job, majority of them do still. Full basic pay is about £40k once training complete and they’ve been assigned a station. Got told he was on £150k which is that ridiculous you know it’s true.

150k Jesus, can't be true surley, although if we are cap deals like that would explain it.

Although probably pays 100k in fines a year.

Think I said on here a couple of weeks ago that Sao wanted part time rugby next season as he'd passed his final medical for the fire service

Fingers crossed, can do alot better with nan overseas spot than him, replace him domestically use the quota spot on another position.

Along with Carlos on 140k and Trueman on 170k. That’s a lot of money sat in the stands

IF these amounts are remotely true, then basically these 3 are nearly marquee players.
