just my thoughts from this morning having not seen the game only listened to radio and interviews
I am hoping the players .. senior ones did take the responsibility after game and asked radders to leave along with staff so they could have a good sort out between themselves. clearly not all gave 100 % . I refrain from massive comment as not seen game but by all accounts (shaun briscoe was very inciteful on radio humberside.... much better than usual radio rovers crap. ) our halfs were very poor and theirs excellent . brown playing in a dinner jacket and sneyd making all wrong options. Abdull unfortunately appears to not have sorted out physical fitness issues and had a very poor kicking nite. wondered why having given him the 13 shirt we had not seen him.. radders comments about so so pre season now make sense. we appear to have a large problem defending wide out as a team structurally and with individuals jumping out leaving easy holes on wing ..seen it in all games.. even salford and cats scored all tries out there.
I want radders to succeed and I hope the players back him with a good stuffing of wakefield - it is the only way he will remain. I always said 10 games to decide if radders can get best out of this top squad he has assembled and have accepted nature of last 2 defeats was about poor game management and indiscipline in close finishes against top 6 teams . however last nights attitude and aptitude was a massive negative and i fear a wakey loss at home would have to be the end. I believe this team will react ,stuff wakey and give him a stay of execution but I am sure pearson will have doubts now about this seasons success and we will be on red alert for a while. As for replacements i would prefer to see radders take assistance (from above !) and my favourites would be noble or kear from what is easily available in UK.
there is no doubt this squad has been financed by pearson on basis it achieves top 6 and good cup run. I still believe the squad is deep and strong enough to achieve the minimum goals set . the question is who will drive it to reach its full potential ?
Mr peason will unfortunately now have to suffer more loss of crowd for KC v wakefield - i can see max 8000 and a lot of moaners.... many of whom have stood by club for last 8 pretty dire seasons and have valid claims to criticise !. Radders said he expects a pretty frosty KC next week and is under no illusions about consequences of a defeat !
I am just wondering if i am brave enough to book a trip all way from CH to KC for the wakefield game....................
