it’s as if we are trying to make a top 6 which seems ludicrously out of reach

Serious posters understand the idea of signing players with SL experience rather than having five or sx players in the team with none or just one or two games under their belts.

You can't have 20 year olds in the academy.

Without adding to the melodramatics of derby week, it looks as though we will be debuting at least 1 17 year old, if not 2.

King won’t be playing, coote will be but he’s not 100%. Storton won’t be either. Ryan Hall I’d be very surprised if he plays maybe could with injections but not sure it’s worth it with some winnable games after.

I think the 3 pick ups you have got will swing it in your favour, we are both down to bare bones but at least some fresh blood and energy will help you. I’m not sure we can name 4 props either!

I wouldn’t put this one down as a classic if I’m honest looking at the respective teams, which is a shame considering the ticket sales from the city

Suppose it will depend how our new players can gel with the rest of the team after a couple (if that) training sessions.

We could look like a team just thrown together like we did on Saturday.

Coote was really struggling against Huddersfield wasn’t he so if he plays I would test him out as early as possible. Give him plenty of work to do.

Yea he was well off it. Dagger came in against Toulouse and was awful as well so no idea which way we will go.

I’d expect to see FC take on the Huddersfield model that works so well against us. Might be boring but 4-5 drives, kick well and pin us down. Watch us make a mistake and then try and be expansive. Play clean and up front and I think an easy victory for you lads, make loads of mistakes and give us confidence then it’s up in the air. Probably chance my opinion again when teams come out buts that’s what I’d do if I was in charge of you!

Have you seen Houghton try to pass a ball and out players try to catch it

Have you seen Taylors non existent desire to carry the ball in.

Have you seen Griffin's errors and non existent defence

Have you any idea which Jamie Shaul will turn up

Not as straight forward as you think, we have huge mentality and attitude problems in the senior players. And from distribution, if your a young lad heck Houghton probably won't even pass you the ball.

balmforth named in the reserves, so looks like Houghton plays on sunday, wth does it take for him to be dropped?
