Hopefully if he can stay free of injury when he comes back from his current injury he'll need easing back in but he has all the attributes to be fantastic, breaks the mould of the smaller forwards we've had come through recently.

Should we be concerned that there is a lot of transfer speculation going on but we have not been linked with anyone of note?

Not having a coach in place must hinder our recruitment and as time ticks by quality players are being snapped up.

We will have a lot of cap space and quota spots available.

I would rather us have the coach in place and have a say in the players that come in. Better to rebuild correctly than do a trolley dash this week and bring players in on 2 year contracts, only to find that the coach doesn’t like them.

Cant see Gardiner and Laidlaw been anything but future Championship level players

I'd be ok with that. There's more chance of finding the right coach if we are patient. Until then I'm assuming Grix and Myler will be in charge of recruitment and they both can't do any worse than what's gone on in recent years. Alternatively a coach is appointed soon but not in charge until next season as Rugby Raider says.
