Normally when there are a number of 50/50 calls and the game is televised you watch it back and see the majority were in fact correct. However, I am absolutely convinced that we were hard done to tonight and would love to see the game back to review all the incidents. Reckon the video guys will be working all night on the evidence. I think he was awful for both teams but we did get slightly the worst of it.

Twice tonight he gave a scrum to the team in possesion of the ball, 1 to each team.

The first one was when we pushed a Cas player into touch. How that becomes a Cas scrum I have no idea.

The second one was when we off-loaded in the tackle and he stopped the game and gave us a scrum.

Baffling.

chase tried to offload it and dropped it. It was the linesman who gave the decision, not the ref

Im guessing, because we gained no advantage (ended up in touch) from your knock on.

What he gave you a scrum for when it looked like either we'd ripped it or you'd knocked it on, well I don't know.

I have been going to fc for many a year, I also have had my bias towards fc cloud my judgement on the outcome of games. 20 minutes into the game I wondered if my bias was getting the better of me again but 80 minutes of play had my answer to that!
Castleford is a game I look forward to every year, good rugby is generally played in a good manner. Then tonight came along and I, as a lifelong rugby league fan, was left bemused by all decisions tonight.
I don't want too take anything away from cas, well done.
