Personally i wouldn't renew Houghton's deal. We've been too slow and have little threat from 9 for a few seasons s now

I'd like to see more of Lovodua at 9, Balmforth might be seen as too young for week in week out games.

IF Houghton isn't renewed, I'd like us to bring in a new 9

Ideally I'd like to see Houghton spelled with Denive getting a run against Wakey/Salford etc

Johnstone should be released
Danny Houghton in my opinion has been good the last few matches
Still worth another year at the club but he needs to be rotated as do our second rows when they are all fit

Maybe it helps explain the Mata'utia, Mellor, O'connor links, that we're after a back row. Unless we're going to run with Lane, Savelio, Griffin next season. With Scott and Lovodua as cover. Think it's a risk though with Andre coming back from his 3rd ACL.
