Another gutsy home win and will deserved, Wigan far from their best but we managed to just about cope with what they were throwing at us.

Clifford starting to guide us round the pitch, two clutch plays and a smart decision going for two won us the game in the end. As already mentioned Sutcliffe was brilliant, I also thought Sao really dug deep yesterday.

On a negative note, I thought Lane was poor yet again, not sure what he really offers? Mcintosh is just void of all confidence, this may be harsh but how it didn't score in the corner in the 2nd half is beyond me, and to then throw it to the fastest player on the pitch in french  was anything said regarding Swift?

Anyways, its another two points we will happily take.

Fans on TRL believe French should have been sin binned or we should have been awarded an 8 point try. Anyone get a good look at this?

Couldn't watch it back on planner as I've cancelled sky for a cheaper alternative. :D

Enjoyed last night, and we did to Wigan, what Wigan have done to so many teams in the past. Gritty, full of character and desire.

However, Lane was dreadful for me. To get a 4 in the HDM ratings in a performance as gritty and determined as it was, is embarrassing for him. His tackling, grabbing and failure to make yards is really poor. Savelio, even though it looks like he might be leaving, has to play next week instead of Lane. My team for next week if fitness news is correct:

Hoy
Litten
Carlos
Sutcliffe
Swift
Trueman
Clifford
Sao
Houghton
Fash
Griffin
Savelio
Cator

Satae
Taylor
Dwyer
Scott (Back row and backs)

French made a whopping 30 carries for Wigan. We did well to keep him as quiet as we did

Spot on that Scott definitely got the size to cover agree on Dre but can't see it happening, Macca is struggling with his shoulder so perfect time for Trueman to comeback, agree on Hoy and Litten but Hoy needs to show the same desire in defence as Litten. We need another prop and 2nd rower to cover Evans and Dre if they go.

Is that Halton for Brown swap still happening?

Think its over for Savelio in a Hull shirt. We would've seen him back by now
