Pretty damming 30 or so minutes listen that.

Probably the most concerning thing is the mention of the current facilities, we have been told that the players are using a world class facility yet it sounds like the clubs operating out of a spare cupboard in the uni.

Only managed to listen to the first 20 or so minutes but that was the biggest shock for me too. Sounds so disjointed

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

A thoroughly depressing listen and just reaffirms what most are thinking in that it’s a professional club run on an amateur basis. Neither James nor Dan believe it’s anywhere near cap and that if it is things are seriously wrong.

Pretty much everything that’s been said on here was echoed by them so if we as fans can see it and the sports journalists can see then why the hell can’t the owner of the club or the head coach see it.

Makes you think about giving up supporting them, everything they said was utterly depressing from the training set up to recruitment and retention and the lack of a long term plan

Re: State of the Nation : Mon Mar 18, 2024 8:30 pm
Wow pretty damning stuff but lets face it when some of us who have defended this club through some real crisis's on here and elsewhere over many years are saying what we are surely things are just as the guys on the podcast said; gradually and incrementally we are spiralling backwards. It has been going on for years and it is getting worse and yes it is soul destroying for those of us who absolutely love the club. We just expect to get a regular stuffing now it's almost part of being a fan. There are no excuses because we all know that on and off the field we are going backwards. We have to renegotiate the lease on National Avenue so we move to the university. We are told it is a massive step forward but it now appears, as the truth is out, it's another cheap fix and likely a step backwards.

No one at the club could ignore the furore on here on Facebook and even on X on Saturday night yesterday and today but we are still waiting to hear anything to give us a bit of succour and indeed hope. Dans obviously trying to get a comment from the owner or the Chief Executive but 48 hours plus have passed and nothing!!! It almost seems that as they have our money our love and our often blind faith why should they??

Because without it Hull FC ceases to exist, which none of us want to see. We're stuck.

That was brutal. Well done to all three for for their honesty. Every concern voiced on here was laid bare in stark reality.

We really are in a mess and the accountability starts at the top. The fish rots from the head.

We need answers quickly and what the plan is to turn it around otherwise with the level of toxicity the club is going to implode on itself.

Notwithstanding the above, finance and health god willing, I will always renew come what may.

I wouldn't blame others who choose not to.
