As good as Houghton has been for us over his career I’m still if the opinion it would be an error to offer him another year extension. I do wonder if Danny will decide to call it a day ar the end of the season though.

Wouldn’t mind us going for Joe Greenwood. Still only 29 and be handy for both back row and prop.

I'd rather have Houghton for another season but start with Lovodua if he changes his mind about playing at 9! and bring Balmforth on gradually.
