In Johnstone's defence his effort has never been lacking, he gives it 100% every time he's on the pitch, however the fact that he is going back to Widnes says a fair bit about the quality he possesses.

Think Houghton, Walker and Burrell will be on their way out too,
Reckon Mitch,Scott and Hookem will get an extra year and Barron and Lovodua will get 2 year deals.

That question mark has to be Griffin.
Cant see him being here next season.Too far down the pecking order now

For me second row has to be a priority.
As much as i like Longstaff for his pace and workrate i think it would be a mistake to go for another small lightweight forward unless Cator is put on the market.
We need a like for like for Mau,big strong and tough tackling defence particularly if Savelio breaks down again

Agreed if you could guarantee an injury hit season then I think we would be ok with Longstaff signing, but think we need another backrower, unless Sao moves there, particularly if Evans keeps improving.

Problem is what we do if Smith plays really well the next few matchs.

It's gone a bit quiet on Sutcliffe, but I still would say no. Ideally as a centre.

Like you say, if Smith has a stormer and we have an option to extend into next season, where does he fit in? At 9 for a season to help Balmforth?

Don't think we will sign Walker, have plenty of cover there, particularly if Smith stays.

Not sure I'd keep Simm, not sure he is better than the young lads we have coming through.

I hope we sign Sutcliffe, but if the deal isn't already done, on current firm, think Leeds will keep him.

Wasn't sure about Mitch, but has played well last couple if games.

I'm only repeating what someone else has posted so just speculating. If he goes we need to replace him with another centre and also a second rower to replace Ma'u.

Assuming Lovodua signs we have one quota place left. I would use it for a second rower.
