Briscoe and Holmes represent good solid signings who will improve us (not difficult) We will find it difficult to capture top quality federation players as most of the deals would have been done before the new investment was is in place unless we pay transfer fees. Asiata is a major coup but we need a couple more statement signings preferable a hooker and half back.

It's amusing to see, wait until we have a decent team together and a coach in place, if they're getting twitchy now when we're crap it's going to be hilarious when some better players are coming in.

Would be a great signing for a year but sounds like he's more likely to stay down under or go back to Catalans.

I think it has already been ruled out but Whitehead would be a great signing for a year. Like Asiata he's a leader something we have been lacking in abundance for years. Signing Whitehead would leave us more options to utilise the quota places. It will never happen so I'm just wasting my time discussing it!
