BTW - some interesting information from a couple of Catalan fans on the VT and Catalan forum this morning. Definitely sounds like incompetence caused the game to be called off, but on the part of the local council who run the ground rather than the Catalan club.

TBF nobody would expect a game to be called off in South of France. Why spend thousands of pounds on something you'll hardly ever use. I live in Mallorca for most off the year and its been snowing for the first time in years but i won't be getting and form of heating system because i will hardly ever use it.

Posting speculative stuff is fine, suggesting all grounds have undersoil heating just to accommodate the feint possibility of a game being called off, especially for a "summer sport" is bordering lunacy. Looking to lay blame at anyone who happens to be born in France is xenophobic garbage.
