Before this morning, I was optimistic for the first time in years. I cannot believe that McCrae has done this. I would rather sign nobody.
Where is all this "intent" that we were promised in AP's inspirational rallying call? Who's the forward coming in next? Jason Netherton? Danny Ward? Cusack out of retirement?
I am thoroughly disgusted ! I didn't expect Lyon, Jennings etc... but this is a complete joke.
Ah yet another Johnny foreigner mascarading as British born .How long will it be before a Super League club starts with a non British born line up.It`s all getting outa hand and becoming laughable !
Our right hand side was already looking worrying for next year, but now! Id go as far as to say that we have actually weakened that area. A Turner/Sharp combination doesnt exactly fill me with confidence, nor many others (hence why we were all crying our for a new centre) but the fact that everyone is now hoping dearly that Turner WILL be our no 3 next year, says enough. This is a Mcrae signing, no doubt about it. When Mcrae was appointed DOR I think its fair to say the vast majority were very happy with the appointment (myself included), but after the week we've had - signing Martin, appointing Radford as assistant, and numerous underwhelming changes to the back room staff, I am now starting to cast doubts over his appointment.

I would agree that is seems to be a poor signing, but there's always the chance he might surprise us. Even if he doesn't, the decision about whether or not to buy a pass can't surely hang on this one piece of business, however ill advised you consider it to be. I'd also agree about AP's rallying call, but he did also say that success wouldn't come over night. Quite how Martin's signing moves us any closer to that goal, I can't explain, but I guess we're stuck with it now, so might as well give him the benefit of the doubt.
Trying to be clever behind your keyboard eh? Very brave of you !
iphone actually.
There quite good are iphones. I can use the internet at games and provide you with in-match updates next season (for the games that aren't on Sky that is).

This signing doesn't fit into AP's rhetoric in any way whatsoever. I'm getting worried about McCrae's dealings. We've had a week of very underwhelming appointments and all the optimism and excitement after AP's fantastic interviews is gradually withering away.
I actually think our squad is weaker for the addition of Martin because he will play right centre and we have better players who won't play because of him. I would rather have signed nobody.
Lynch aside, (great signing) AP has done nothing to our playing rosta to match his inspirational rhetoric.
