As for Crookes, IMO never a red card but a yellow at worst, if it had have been one of the usual top 4 clubs it would have been on report and a penalty, Mciloram has form for violent behaviour and if he had a black and white or red and white shirt on he would spend more time at Red Hall than on the pitch, all this does is prove Pearson and Hudge were right.

I thought the red card was harsh, there was no intent, it was just a clumsy/lazy tackle, but then someone reminded of the fact that Salter had to leave the field and didn't/couldn't return so in effect we lost a player so had Crookes not been sent off it would have been a little unfair!

Not quite. Burns had the ball when Yeaman started the tackle, he never ended up in a 'spear' position, and Yeaman just let him drop rather than driving him into the ground.

He said "as Burns passed it", not 'after Burns passed it'.
Yeaman ' s tackle was okay. Could have gone wrong but as soon as Burns was in the air Yeaman let go.

Other than that you're spot on.

But didn't at the end as in 'didn't have the ball' you assumed I meant for the full tackle which was wrong. Watch it again Burn is up ended head first. Yeaman then adjusts so as to put him down safely.
If Yeaman had driven down it would have been a spear which is why I said 'spear position' instead 'gave him a spear'.

Read what I posted again.
When Burns was lifted the ball had gone. So I'm not wrong just as neither is Baldy.
