I am quite happy with the signings of both Pryce and Sneyd. Okay, it would have been better to get Pryce a few years younger but he's still got plenty of quality, is a big improvement on what we have on our books so far, and his experience should really help the youngsters such as HTW. Whereas Sneyd has arguably been the best halfback in SL this year. And he's young enough to improve further which will be to FC's advantage.
FC have done really well here. They've brought in two quality players and if they can make further additions of this ilk then I couldn't care less whether they are considered "marquee".
100% agree.... We've now got the players to boss us around the park, we just need a bit more aggression and grunt in the pack and I think we're on to a winner.. But only if we keep and further develop the talent in the backs, Shaul, Lancaster, Lineham and Crooks.
I agree with both of the above to an extent however I am still concerned as to whether these two will make as significant improvement as we hope.
The reason for my concern is I have yet to see Radford improve some of the fundemental basics of the team nor do we seem to have any set plays and if we have then they are very rarely executed. So my concern is that Radford is expecting both Pryce & Sneyd to run the games themselves pretty much off the cuff in each game.
I just think he is way too inexperienced at this level and we are now entering an era where the safety net has been removed and there are now serious consequences for failure to be at the top end of the league. We needed an experienced Coach who could right the wrongs and improve us not someone who openly admitted he didn't know what to do and so far has only succeeded in taking us back down the league not further up it.
