I think having Houghton but spelling him with Balmforth would be ideal. Lovadua (hopefully), MacNamara and Hookem can cover the position.

It'd have to be a big signing to replace Mint, say Brad Dwyer or Sam Powell. I can't see either of them coming to us which means someone from the NRL. That'll be expensive and a risk and it might mean Denive not getting much time on the pitch.

Pragmatically, Houghton goes round again for me.

Jamie Shaul isn't in the club's OOC list in the HDM. So ... the daily fail can't copy and paste or we've resigned him, or someone else signed him, or he's retiring.

3rd choice at Hull too, behind Balmforth who you have watched for 25 minutes right?

Unless we can sign better and a few above are not better than Houghton, both in attack and defence.

He gets another year, but should have pressure from Balmforth and Lovodua, shouldn't be playing 80 minutes.

Houghton has a great game against Catalans, out playing Mcilorum who is appartley better than him, did we see him after the game?

Reading his posts, I'm sure he goes to the games or even watches them on TV.

We can all be a bit negative on certain topics, but there has to be some positivity in our performances this season surley, some just can't find it.

Our best player by a mile against catalan was Lane or mau

They said Houghton 2 assists which was just laughable.. it was a bit of a brilliance by lane and a barnstorming run by satae

Great players like Lovodua, Carlos, mau, Lane get my respect cause they are our best performing players

Houghton passing a ball from dummy half and us scoring isn't out playing anyone

I can't wait until Lovodua go's to hooker or 3/4 years time when Houghton leaves/retires people would of realised how little Houghton brought to the attack

It's frustrating cause with a decent hooker who could attack makes a huge difference
