I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Walker is far from our biggest worry. At least he’s trying his heart out. He has ability, pace, and the determination needed. Would look way better in a better team, just like Herman and a few others.

Half back is the biggest miss by a long, long way. We look completely rudderless.

Completely agree.

When you have very little quality across the board but particularly at 6, 7, 9 and 13 even if we had Billy Slater or Gary Kemble in their prime at FB right now it wouldn't make any difference and they'd look poor.

We simply have not and still don't have much in the way of any real creativity within the squad at all.

Smith and Gene have taken a pretty poor side and actually made it considerably worse and at an alarming rate.

Whoever comes is is pretty much going to have to clear almost all out as that's the only way I can see to move forward. I don't think in the history of SL that I've ever seen such a poor collection of players in one SL team.

The real issue is why players are wanting to leave. It doesn't happen at the likes of saints and wigan, certainly only very infrequently when there is a genuine reason

Often wondered this myself. As you say, it tends to be infrequent at not just Saints and Wigan but pretty much every club. Yet at Hull it's year on year at the moment. There's something not right at the club, something about the enviroment.

I would also say that it needs to be a quick clear out because we've seen before that we when we do get decent signings, they tend to get sucked into whatever the malaise is at the club.

I think Walker is pretty good, very safe, good runner and can pass the ball which he has shown a few times, the issue for me if that the rest of the pivots are poor, Trueman aside, Charles isn't ready, not only he isn't ready physically he is too slow with his decision making, he will get a lot more time in the reserves/academy to develop that side of his game and get some confidence.

Houghton's passing and decision making is shocking, best part of his game now is his kicking, even defensively he misses a lot more than he use too, lots of head knocks too, should have retired last year, time to give him a rest or reduce his gametime.

Cator has to be worst attacking 13, I've every seen, he link up play, passing is poor, never makes a break. Last season in 26 games he had no trys or assists and currently in 6 games the same. 32 games with a try or assist.

Adding in a 7, 9 and 13 of better quality will help the likes of Walker and Trueman.

The thought of signing Abdull with our current S&C set up is frightening

As much as we talk about what we need on the field, top of our shopping list really has to be a better coaching set up. Whoever the new coach is needs to be given a full compliment of backroom staff. We can't skimp and save on this area.

Has to be, new coach, his own assistant, let him decide on Grix, then a new S&C team to be brought in.

Needs to be ASAP, I get the need for patience, but it's over 4 weeks since Smith was sacked and I'm sure it was on the cards at least 2 weeks before he was sacked.

Hi all, first time writing on here, re: ligi Sao it’s true he got the job in the fire service but he never turned up to collect his uniform last week so not sure if he’s changed his mind or hull won’t let him leave.
