Motto of the week -

It is the way of the weak to secretly bleat to those in authority rather than fight their own battles.

Radford deserves his own thread tonight. Superb.

Not often we agree, but i though Radders was immense last night. His workrate was beyond belief.

Pretty sure in one set of Wigans he was involved in all five tackles before Kingy gave the penalty away on the last. Always notice hows our intensity in defence drops when Radford and Cusack go off.

If I wanted glory and the joys of supporting a well financed and well organised sport I'd pick another one.

I don't know what I missed, but it seemed like a typical Radford performance tonight, i.e. solid, but not overly effective. As always, he was far too intent in gaining an extra couple of inches at the expense of a quick play, costing us ground on the subsequent play.

Compared to the praise Tickle, who played around 20 minutes longer and was far more effective on both sides of the ball, has received, the praise Radford is getting is very OTT. I'd love him to produce something extra (and he has in the past, mainly a couple of years ago when he was putting in much longer stints and working harder in them), but it's just not there at the minute. He could learn a lot from Cusack when it comes to economies of scale.

I agree with most of that, and think Tickle deserves more credit for his efforts last night.
Tickle was running really strong and effective lines out wide last night whereas Radders did more of it down the middle, where he likes to do it, IMO Tickle was as good as Radders.

Outstanding result for us,poor 1st half i must say but what an improvement in the 2nd half.It was not the best flowing rugby i have seen but we dug deep and showed willing in defence and attack, and where the hell did that turn of pace come from from Cussack,i dont know if anyone noticed this but when he ran through he headed towards the ref using him as a kind of block off for there fullback to get too him true rugby brain used there.I know Radders got MOTM but i thought there where a few contenders in the team Manu,G horne where outstanding! calderwood did really well apart from the high ball they scored from. All in all a great solid perfomance IMO COME ON YOU UUUUULLLLLAAAA

Great game by Radders, led from the front. Can't wait to see Crocker (hopefully) and Moa adding a bit of fire power. Berro had a good game I thought. Hes class.

I think you will have to subscribe to Setanta then my friend if you want to watch Crocks !
If Eastwood can be rejected for a driving offence Crocks dont stand a chance. I fear Moa may be having some sort of problems too !
Never mind though a wise man once said "You cant miss what youve never had !"
