Hope he told Sharpy to remember that it's the passion that we fans love, maybe he's forgot, afterall he's been off away from FC whilst Kingy is still here. Hope you remember what the fans of FC want Sharpy and stop trying to quell it in our lads. You keep on with that passion Kingy, and remember, we fans keep on remembering all of you players (well the one's that warrant all these re-union dinners etc). With a bit of luck and the lads, as well as coaches remembering this is a TEAM game, we may wll have a lot more reunions in the future to commemorate!!!! No cliques in our team remember, not like the split in the team that went over to Oz........grannyfan Cindy
yes, of course, we want a team full of hot heads that get sin binned and penalised every week, sod the result, lets just have some fight eh?
Passion is all good and well if its not over passion. King was far too passionate on Friday meaning he missed a lot of the tackles he went in for and could have easily concended a try or two through it.

I love winning more than passion more so if that passion costs us.

Deary me today.
I'd rather we had a winning team TBH. Thanks anyway.
and sharp hes very big on discipline,he told him to calm down when he was brought off, said your not going back on till ye do.
In one way, the fact that King wasn't brought back on was as positive a sign as any about our coaching staff changing their approach from last season IMO. Hopefully it's a sign of a continued approach where substitutions will be made by taking into account what's happening on the field rather than just for the sake of it, as it seemed we did last year.
The Dewsbury friendly was a good tough workout for him.
It was physically but it was no super league speed workout like leeds was for the other props. One game in 11 months! I am not surprised he was off the pace (same with Washy).
We either drop them to the reserves or play them next week? What say you?

Kingy could go in the reserves for me but we dont have better. See how he goes v Celtic.

Are you confusing passion with intelligence?
He was making decisions based on adrenaline rather than experience and could have cost us the game. He should know better. He was literally going for a big hit in every set of 6 and most of the time completely missed the man. A big hit can be a very good thing but has to be done at the right time or you are just leaving massive holes in the defensive line.

agreed, and it is probably the best way to manage Kingy, let him know what the boundaries are, let him (and anyone else) see that Agar is not scared of making the difficult decisions.
