Stevo has traditionally had the worse reputation of the two for being an idiot but for me the last couple of years Eddie has overtaken him at an alarming rate. So much of what he says is just plain wrong. Clarke comes in for some unfair criticism. He can be irritating but at least he knows what he's on about unlike Hemmings.

Not to mention the painful banter of Eddie calling Stevo old/big/tight/all three on a regular basis.. and yeah I agree Phil Clarke knows what he's saying, it's just a shame about 99% of what he's thinking uses his hefty bias of his beloved Cherry and Whites as a reference point..

^^ Possibly his favourite! It does amuse me aswell how Phil uses these big Wigan references, which are then usually followed by either a) an awkward silence or b) a subject change!

As much as I hate to say it I think the fact Eddie and Stevo are still sitting pretty shows how far down the priority list Rugby League is at Sky HQ....
For me the NRL coverage line up of Carney/Wells/McRae was excellent and I buy into all three, insightful and imformative.

According to Dave Parker, Stevo is thinking if retiring in the near future so we could see some change hopefully. Again I know he isn't a very reliable source of info.

Thank God Eddie n Stevo don't commentate on radio, no one would ever know what was going on, they spend more time waffling about anything other than what is happening on the pitch, or " Paddock " as Stevo would say. Oh, and have you noticed he's wearing a silk handkerchief in his jacket breast pocket lately, and he call's the boy's from the R.U. the Ra Ra boy's, who does he think he is?
