A lot will ride on injuries and squad togetherness for us as there are a large number of OOC players potentially being kept or released so I hope the club can navigate that well, keep focussed and play well each week.
If we stay relatively healthy top 6 would be good but I just don’t feel as confident for some reason this year, despite the upgrade in coach. I think Wigan will win the GF and topple Saints , Leigh will do well with a quality squad and Wakey may go down- I hope not I’ve had some great away days there .
I pretty much agree with your assessment, our back row options are very limited and the current preference for many, Griffin and Savellio, if fit , would be okay but if they get injured, we are back to moving Ligi Sao from the front row, to cover. Sao is a great player, but I prefer him as prop and Lovodua has also been mentioned, again not ideal for me , but the cap restraints meant we couldn't really strengthen there as we would have done previously. If we get lucky with injuries, then top six is achievable, think Leigh will be surprisingly good, that squad has some genuine star quality, Wakey may struggle and we'll see how our team fares against Cas, who I'd say look pretty much our equals. Rovers will also be around the top six, they have a decent first team squad but like us , not great depth.
