its so cynical the way they do it,as soon as football finishes it starts.if for some reason city had to play fixtures late may or june it wouldnt happen.they are just taking the p--s out of fc

I would assume that you own your post, if so you need to take one massive chill pill. It happens on nearly all shared grounds, think it’s a Football League thing.

IMG have suggested a group stage in the CC early on and I'd tentatively agree with that.

You could have say groups of 3 with an SL team, Championship team and League 1 team with 1 or 2 going through. This could replace a preseason friendly, and for lower league clubs it might be a good pay day if they have weeks to sell tickets for an SL team coming to town.

not for me, would make it even less appealing, could you imagine football tampering with the FA cup? CC is and should be random draw...reason why a lot of the amateur clubs wont take part anymore is because the chance of drawing the likes of wigan/saints/leeds in the early rounds have bee taken away from them and most made a loss once the new format came in

Agree should just put all clubs in the hat and draw that’s what it’s all about
