I can only assume this is Buddy's commentary in today's HDM. Not quite "purring" Chester calibre, but upper quartile sycophancy IMO:

With exciting pace-makers, such as Ken Sio and Albert Kelly, and established half-backs in Terry Campese and Maurice Blair, many Super League sides challenging for the Super 8s are bound to be in awe of just what KR possess.

And entering his eighth non-consecutive season in Red and White, 31-year-old Cockayne is qualified more than most to admit even he was unaware of the calibre of several of his new team-mates when they touched down in east Hull.
