Hull would probably be better off bringing in a few younger players to bolster squad depth, players that will improve and be ready to be first team starters over the next couple of years, your academy isn't ready to start churning the next generation out just yet so raid younger SL or Championship players,
It'd probably mean a couple of years of transition but it'd be a lot cheaper than AP trying to pay players off.
Maybe not great for pass sales but it'd improve your squad depth and improve your squad long term toi

That's why I think it's a good idea for Hull to go out and bring in some younger players to bolster your squad until you do have academy lads ready for the first team.

Im merely suggesting an alternative to trying to make big costly changes that's all, you guys should have better knowledge than I do about your own academy, so maybe I'm wrong, maybe your production line will balance your squad depth out sooner then I reckon, I guess we'll see.

I'm not saying that they don't count, but what first team action have they seen to suggest they'll be the next big thing?

Staveley and Ferreira hopefully get some time next year and hope Barron develops again
