I think you'll find with cups and play-offs he'd play a bit more than that for Saints...

Not really the 7 I hoped for, however he is proven, broke a few hearts I hope he can break a few over the next 2 seasons and lead our boys around the park.So welcome Sean.

I think we need a couple more signings to restore confidence in the fans and place bums on seats, it appears our club are progressing in a positive way

Considering our present 7 is Chris Thorman I find it hard to criticise this signing. I look forward to seeing Long in a Hull shirt next season.

Nope. I mean one quarter. Read the Saints press release - they are committed to bringing the kids (Eastmond) through. They only wanted Long for a transitional period where he gradually gives way to Eastmond. At most he would have started half a season, with Eastmond playing the other.

I did read it, but Eastmond is injured more then Dykes was last year!

I really hope Eastmond can hack it at the higher level. It's a tough ask and there are not that many home-grown 7s nowadays.
