Pretty sure Pearson will of identified the players at the centre of the rot and briefed Smith.

I guess the balls in Smiths court if he gives them a second chance or if he's been told they are getting moved on, time will tell.

Sounded like Houghton had an option in his favour, not sure he l get much gametime at all. I think he l be backup incase of Injurys.

Would be a bonus getting Taylor and Griffin moved on to strengthen further and as has been touched on in the media article, we may see the above being paid off or moved on as the "surprising" ones.

One can hope.

Me I cannot wait to see Carlos, Savelio, Cator, Trueman, Hoy, Dywer, Sutcliffe out there alongside the likes of Connor, Satae and Sao. If the youngsters can push on and develop we have a good platform

Shame we're actively trying to get rid of Shaul, as a swap deal for Tanginoa would have been nice!

Also with Tony Smith, does he allow his attacking players the freedom of they can pretty much make it up as they go along which seems to of been the case under Hodgson, or does he prefer a more structured approach?

I think it's absolutely needed that we start to see some structured plays and the basics all been doing correctly again.

I'm hoping the 'playbook' is being re-written.

I see Taylor’s frivolous charge against Vete has been withdrawn. He was embarrassed by the tackle and reacted totally inappropriately. He should have been charged himself but his tactic of muddying the waters obviously succeeded.

Shopping list 2023 is the subject Keith.

I know you are still reeling from your Stanley "wouldn't walk over hot coals" remark but this post should be on the Derby topic.

Hopefully Taylor but can’t see it personally.
Can’t see anyone else to be shown the door but you never know.

Maybe cash in on Connor?

Would be disappointed if Carlos left. Especially if he goes to another SL club. Would just look wrong

Carlos has been back home in New Zealand for the last 3 weeks. Really determined for a massive season next year after all his bad luck this.
I know he would like to get a testimonial with the club.

Yes I could have done that. However as Taylor is a bit of a hit topic on here thought this might be better. I think I made the right choice as it gave you the opportunity to be snide once again and I know how much that gets your rocks off.

Hope not. NRL clubs rarely pay transfer fees and the only club I can see him going to is Warrington. However, I'd guess with the signings already made would struggle with the cap.

Rovers could be an option I suppose. He could replace Coote who has been a very average signing who misses a lot of games and isn't getting any younger. Added to the fact Rovers will be among the favourites to win the competition next season and have money to burn.

Also owning the ground and expanding Craven Streat with the purchase of a bouncy castle and a paddling pool.
