You can apply for an International Sportsperson visa if all of the following apply:

you’re an elite sportsperson or qualified coach, who’s recognised by your sport’s governing body as being at the highest level of your profession internationally

your sport’s governing body is endorsing your application

your employment will develop your sport in the UK at the highest level

you meet the other eligibility requirements.

On the international point, I don't know if the club can sponsor him to get around that point. Someone like Cust or even Mitch Pearce haven't represented Australia

If we are signing these 3 exciting players and I really hope we do where does everyone think lovaduo will play next season? I fully expect Houghton to be given a 1 year deal and to be our starting 9 and with balmforth playing off the bench more I feel joey is too good to be out the team . I just wondering if this is why we haven't announced a new deal yet is he staying?

If Houghton given another year then hopefully Lovodua would play at 9 spelling Houghton to start with while Balmforth is brought through. If the club have real faith in Balmforth for next season there’s always a possibility that Houghton may not get an extension.

Think he's signed an extension. I'd like to see him get a run at 9, maybe BH sees him as a 14

Lovodua in a team with those extra spine players would be an ideal 13.
