There'll only be 12 of the first choice 17 who are his side or something of that ilk
can you or any other explain to me exactly what agar is supposed to coach into our forwards to help us go forward? We have a plodding pack, something agar is addressing! Blinkered I am not, but I'm also not unreasonable.

Yeah for a start off we need to win the collision landing on elbows and knees, followed by a quick ptb
Like you said he can't improve the size, and yes they do struggle to go forward but he should be able to get more out of them
Another is to go wider of the ruck when taking the ball in

Not winning colision is still down to size and strength. Only cusack does well (ish).
Going wide isn't really an excuse, we can't do that all the time or we become just as predictable!

never said all the time, but when a forward takes it in, easy to defend marker just takes a step to the side and smashed thats easy to defend
Long aand fitzgibbon were top drawer players in their prime but both are far off their prime. Everyone is bigging up lauaki and hardly anyone has seen him play. He'll end up like manu - given the ball standing still and expected to perform miracles. tansey is a decent young player but the fact leeds have sold him for £30k shows how good he really is in the grand scheme of things.
You forgot to add in radford and cusack
I'll make a prediction here - doesn't matter who we sign, we'll still be shiite next season with agar in charge
Sydney Roosters are a prime example of a side, who have proven international and State of Origin players,
But employ an inexperienced manager!!
With the likes of Mason,Anasta,O'Meley,Fitzgibbon and Pearce etc in their squad, they should be top 6.
Look where they are languishing!
On the other side of the coin, you have Newcastle Knights, who have only a handful of rep players.
But they have a Manager, who has shown previously-he can take a squad, and improve their core skills.
Its interesting, that many players come off contract at our club in 2010.
Including Agar!!!
AFAIK, Sheens,Hasler Brian Smith,Taylor and Cleary are all off contract at end of 2010.
WE RUN BEST AT THE END. WE RUN BEST AT THE END OF PRACTICE. WE RUN BEST AT THE END OF THE RACE. WE RUN BEST AT THE END OF THE SEASON WHEN IT COUNTS THE MOST.

Can't Agar take fittlers route of asking his captain if he can go out on the lash then getting himself into trouble and embarrasing himself (granted the embarrassment is pretty much in full flow at the mo) but instead of fining himself 10000 for been a prat he could sack himself and do us all a favour.

Aggression, effective timing of the run, gaining a quick PTB, running effective angles, dummy running, running like you actually want to gain some metres rather than running at the opposition and falling over, not turning your back on the defender as you hit him, backing up the ball carrier in case he gets an opportunity to offload. It's not fecking rocket science is it?

Basically everything there can be attributed to player attitude or passion! Or is again down to size and strength.

None of it is down to strength, it's down to coaching and motivation. I suspect a motivational talk by agar leaves you wanting to slit your wrists. Make as many excuses for him as you want, fact is he is a very poor coach
