No the shift has moved to Rovers because we are in a much better situation financially. We are nearly breaking even now (Hull FC £1million plus loss every year) but that's just the start. With the acquisition of the ground and surrounding land we will soon enter profitability with the situation improving every year.

Just one of the 7 surrounding 'parcels' of land which Rovers have bought has planning permission for housing, can you imagine how much money Rovers will make out of that? There are exciting plans for the other 6 parcels all of which will generate money for Rovers. And in the meantime Rovers are free from the burden of rent and every penny made from the stadium goes to Rovers.

Compare that to the Hull FC where far from making you money, your stadium (well it's not your stadium is it) actually you have to pay expensive rent just to play there and in a few short years you won't even have the right to stay there.

Bit by bit, year on year the situation will gradually shift in Rovers favour it's inevitable. Already we have finished above you 2 years running and that's just the start.

Rovers lost £622k in the last accounts and Rovers Events company lost money too. That was before the catastrophic impact of energy cost increases that come with property ownership and net liabilities of £4m. But yes, I'm sure it's all lovely.

Chomp chomp, here comes PAC Man. The only thing that keeps you from falling over is the perfect balance of those 2 massive chips on your shoulders, where as I’m standing on the shoulders of giants. Get away and shoite. You spent over 20 years walking in the wilderness. All that lovely revenue will disappear just like when the original Craven Park was sold, was it 2 or 3 administrations? You were involved with a dodgy building company that time as well

Point taken, but at the moment he's not worth a place in the starting lineup.

Come on Mrs B everyone knows that owning your own ground means you are suddenly rent free & debt free and amazingly no other responsibilities or costs to pay for the upkeep and running of a stadium................... well some seem to think so.
Lets be honest and fair, owning grounds for both rugby clubs didn't work miracles before did it so its not the fantastic utopia being made out by some, especially with the increase costs of utilities and services that now have to be covered solely by the new owners of the stadium.

All in all I'm not too bothered by Rovers and what they do, I am more than happy with the changes going on at Hull FC and feel the future is looking decidedly much brighter than it was a couple of weeks ago both on and off the field.

Especially when the Stadium is ageing. Like you say owning your own stadium is not the utopia that blinkered fans will have you believe. If you need to find £200K to repair a floodlight, you can’t go running to the Council.

So to be clear then you'd prefer to not own your own stadium...
The aging stadium argument is a valid one as is the increase in the energy bills and costs in general but being a tenant doesn't offset those costs all it does is forces up the rent at the next review point and allows no scope to allow that outlay to work for you in terms of revenue generation.

There have been pages upon pages on here about how the KC is hamstringing your club and how you had to get out due to the Allams seemingly treating FC as an unwanted (if necessary lodger) . Pearson himself was in the papers talking of building a new ground not too long ago, ok is was at pass sale time but I'm sure he wasn't being disingenuous.
Yes there is now a new regime in place at City and in charge of the KC but ultimately they will have the same cost implications burdened on them that are apparently going to cripple us. Now I'm pretty sure that their focus will be on making Hull City a success first and foremost and I would assume that they aren't out to stitch up the rugby club but if they find themselves in a position of losing money or having hard conversations with Mr Pearson I'm pretty certain I know which route they'll take.
