pretty disgaceful that really, one can only presume you were not there folks who were there saw exactly as I did what happen and if ever there was a declaration of solidarity within our squad more then we saw it today. So you play you're heart out for 80 minutes and then someone stands in front of you flicking V's at you, it is hard to ignore but as far as I could see he never flicked then back.

People would like to think that O'Meley 'flicked a few V's' because it would furthur cause the demise of the club but some of us poor demented souls who love our club saw what really happened, I simply could not see it probably because actually it didn't really happen. However standing right in front of the occurence I did not see any more then Ogre waving away the folks with the Agar out banner. Of course only what I saw and as you always say I now nowt!!!!!

The problem you have having a go at Agar is that you undermine the players as well. It happened with us when peole got on John Sharp's back. A lot of the players heads went down completely. It is one thing to be unhappy with the coach but if you start p!55ing the players off you are on a hiding to nothing.

I could see the sense what you're saying if it wasn't for the fact that your team has improved dramatically since John Sharp was replaced with a better coach.

It's an interesting debate about the Agar out banners really.

As fans (myself included) we tend to look down on other fans who are critical in certain situations. I was sat there today thinking how embaressing that banner was when we were supposed to be showing our support for the players. The Agar out chant started after the first try and again I thought how bad it was. Then when I actually thought about it I started trying to think how frustrated those fans must feel to be willing to make themselves a target for abuse and mockery from other FC fans just to get their point across, a point most fans seem to agree with by the way. It's similar to those fans forums at the KC when everyone on here thinks its a love in for the club, the problem is that even though fans might agree with certain complaints they feel compelled to defend their club if anyone says something. The very few times someone has been critical at one of those events, everyone seems to give them the evil eye and tut and start muttering about "true fans" etc.

It's an inbuilt reaction for most of us to condemn these sort of protests but we'd happily accept the results if gets rid of Agar. I'll be very honest and say now that I'm hypocritical in this area as I'll look down from my high horse at those protesting at games but if gets the desired result I'll be more than happy.

I would never chant or parade banners towards the players or coach, if I wasn't 'happy' I'd simply refuse to go to games. I do however agree with the sentiment regarding Agar going.

I don't like to see banners but I understand that people have a right to protest. The problem with those muppets was that they were only there to complain. I was there to watch my team win and hoped for that result.

What I do believe is that we need to give Agar the chance to get it right. The players back him and our most senior players at that. I'm prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt. Just my opinion

Re: Bye Omeley : Sun Feb 27, 2011 10:45 pm
our trouble is to many fickle fans ! 3rd game in and we shout agar out last season five wins on the bounce we think we're going all the way !

Agar not the best coach in super league by any stretch, But three wins on the bounce and the fickels will shut up !
Booing your own team does nothing to boost team morale !
We should be getting behind "OUR" team not bashing on em !

It ain't agar turning over possession, on first and second tackle, and tallying up on field errors ! thats the Players.

Have faith !

You want a new coach, but you will not judge Agar for another 8-10 games?

If you want a new coach then you have already judge him.

I don't think he's the man but he has earnt himself time through last season's efforts. It's not rocket science.
