yeh becuase our attacking structure was shocking which comes from the coach does it not?

Hardly, Mrs B points out we have done well with injuries and Rovers have had two key players missing. Horne and Long are key players for us and we've hardly had Long this season and Horne has missed games and had to play injured. Then we go on to pressure on Morgan, okay they had the Mason thing but we had to contend with losing Tansey and drafting in Phelps late on. Morgan has not had any pressure from fans other than a few weeks back whereas our fans have been chanting for Agar's head and have been bombarding JR with emails and taking banners to games. O'Meley even got involved with fans at one stage and the club issued a statement backing the coach. So plenty of turmoil and Agar even admitted he was under huge pressure.

The actual discussion was about would Green and Dobson have won us the game and we both agreed probably not although they are a better combination than Horne and Obst.

He would have taken control of our forwards and kicking game. Obst controlled nothing and might aswell have not played. He and Horne were constantly in the wrong position to kick the ball which also cost us field position. Long would have made a difference but we don't know how much.

Imo they ran stronger than us, played the ball quicker and defended more agressively and in numbers. They looked like a team that were not going to lose whereas we just looked like a team who were content to hang on.

Its all academic anyway Paul,Longy didn`t play unfortunatly,the plain fact is we looked clueless going forward,and I said to my mrs after 10 mins,I can`t see Hull scoring.

I was actually not even debating that stuff about Rovers just picking up on Phelb's comment about their halfbacks. I've no interest in them tbh. I was just commenting on their poor result at headingley with these super halves of theirs.

They have had slightly more distractions, I wasn't arguing otherwise, I just pointed out we have had them too. That said with the team we have been able to put out for most of the season we should be doing better. I feel our squad is behind Saints, Wire and Wigan but on a par with Hudds and Leeds. The fortunes of us and Leeds are down to the quality of coaching.
