If Kelly came back it'd be similar to Fonuas return I'd imagine, we'd expect too much of him and the fans would turn quickly if he failed to deliver.

He'd be 32 by the time the season starts. We'd have another Reynolds situation.

All the halves we've been linked with are all early/mid 20s.

I'd still love to see Smith get his hands on Connor, as unlikely as that seems atm

Injury prone squad, so let's add another injury prone player on a big salary. He would perform, but that's no good if he plays only half the games or less. I'm not sure you think before you type.


Again at the moment halfback is not our priority.

I have not said we should sign Albert Kelly
What i said was i would still back him to perform in S/L if he kept his shape and fitness he obtained whilst in Australia.
Thats totally different to saying Hull Fc should sign him
Maybe its you who should think before you type instead of jumping on the post and trying to gain a few brownie points

So it was another pointless post then from you then, no one was saying that Kelly wouldn't perform, what was the point you where trying to make?

Albert was great for us, a proper running half, but he’s not the answer now, a running kicking scrum half will balance out the side, Lewis fits this option, and Smith will probably know him better than most.

This decision regarding Knowles is disgraceful, a further proof of favouritism, and worse by those in charge, a sad day for rugby league, there is no honour in our game.

I don't think Lewis is that type of player, great runner and good short kicking game, but think Trueman is a better option at 7 than Lewis, think he has more control and passing in his game to play 7 than Lewis.
