Nah that's just fans being one eyed. When we win it's the players and when we lose it's the coach.

So on that basis you think that the squad we had in 2009 really was the 12th worst in the league?

Does anyone on this forum actually remember that his appointment was seen as a positive step. After all it was his influence that put us on a run to the grand final. Well that's what everyone said at the time. I worried that we will force him out only to have another coach completely screw up the signings like sharp did after kear

Reaction was actually pretty mixed. I wasn't in favour of the decision but was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I can't honestly remember but it's irrelevant. If we win the coach has to take credit then the same when we lose. Anything else is double standards.

If you say you want a new coach, and that you do not think he is the man, then you have judged him now.

Re: Bye Omeley : Sun Feb 27, 2011 11:09 pm
i believe agar is ultimately resposible for performances since he is the one who picks the team and interchanges, so he is the one playing class players out of position such as today playing manu and tickle in the prop area and also not using your whole bench with keeping washy sat on the sidelines for 80 mins. Its not the first time he plays people out of their best position such as berrigan throughout his hull career, and keeping hall on the bench all game. Is there any other super league side that uses 16 out of their available 17 players, or is this a special agar trick?

It's not irrelevant or double standards at all, it's being able to see the shades of gray rather than pretending everything is black and white.

Definitely.
Starting front row of Thackeray, Lee and King. Backed up with Thorman at 7 Radford at 13 and Skinny Byrne at full back.

OK so I'm generalizing. But my point is that were too quick to jump on the coach. Has anyone actually thought that the lack of experience in Webster and last may be adding to agar problems.if we are to keep agar then we need an old head next to him

OMG

I don't think he is the man to take us forward BUT he has earned the right to prove me wrong due to last seasons finish. As far as this season goes I will judge his progress from last season 8-10 games in and not after 3.
